Infinite Doors X Dragon Prxncxss
Fluid
Fluid is grief for trans erasure and an open invitation for trans and GNC expression on the canvas. Fluid is at the centre of an art collection called Infinite Doors by gender-fluid, transmedia artist Bodhi from Bodhi X Studio. 10% of all proceeds from the Infinite Doors collection will be donated to Loving Me*.
This interactive canvas went live on Dragon Prxncxss at Taplow Court on November 30th, celebrating the beauty of TRANS, GNC and allyship expression.
“Be your voice.
Express what you want to hear.
Take your space.
Your truth is wanted here.
You are wanted here.”
*Loving Me operate the UK's first domestic abuse refuge by and for the trans and non-binary community.
“Nobody should feel they have to live with abuse.
Not being able to be yourself is not ok.
You have value.”
As Daisaku Ikeda says,
“Acting with a spirit of self initiative and respect for each individual, the SGI will forever illuminate people’s lives and society with the light of courage and hope”.
By actively choosing to do our Human Revolution in reflecting and checking our default thought-processes, our lives will open up, beaming, as Sensei says, “the light of courage and hope” into our Buddhist meetings and wider communities.
Nichiren Buddhism rejects all forms of discrimination. True allyship, however, goes beyond an absence of discrimination. It requires asking how we can proactively dismantle any potential barriers to inclusion in order to create spaces where all within our communities feel safe, recognised and valued. The purpose of this basic guide is to explore how we can do just that, to create spaces that truly embrace all.
